Phones More Important To Women Than Men. Men beware! A survey shows that you are more disposable to the average UK female now, than their mobile. The new study performed by Borro.com in cooperation with the Daily Mail has shown that ladies have a greater loyalty to there mobiles than their men.

A stunning 40 per cent of the 4000 women questioned by the survey stated they could not cope with the loss of their mobile phone, while only 33 per cent of women questioned claimed that they would not be able to get on perfectly well without a man in their lives.

Surprisingly mobile phones were held to be the only essential gadgets for women in the UK, although men proved to be more popular than other electronic devices such as MP3 players and notebook computers. The most important possession revealed by the survey was a woman’s mother and then after that it was photographs.

Concerning for the beauty industry is that the research also revealed that women would rather ditch their hair straighteners and other grooming products than the availability of their cell phones. Showing that communicating with friends is more important that looking the part.

The Chief Executive of Borro Paul Aitken believes women place great value on the contents in the phone, rather than the features provided by the gadget, this is why the girls are so attached to their mobiles. The study also enquired whether they would dump there current boyfriends for a sum money and more than one third said they would do without there current beau for an amount of one million or more.

The importance is related to pictures, texts and calls that make up a female’s social interaction. These have become incredibly significant and the loss of a phone represents the loss of thousands of important memories for most women.

The good news for men is that they were deemed more important than diamond rings, pets, laptops and hair straighteners.
