How much of a pain is it to sell a boat on Ebay?
I’ve never sold anything on Ebay before. If I were to sell a boat on Ebay, how much would the listing fee be every time you list it? What % does Ebay get when it sells? How much of a discount has to be offered on the boat in order to get it sold on Ebay?
EBAY is a terrible way to get rid of a boat. The fees start at 3% and no guarantees that anybody will even look at it. Then, there’s a lot of fraudulent buyers there too. You’ll have a listing fee, and a selling fee when their done with you. I ONLY use a licensed yacht/boat broker to sell my boats. They charge between 10-20%, based upon the selling price and the kind of boat. They do all of the advertising and cleaning and showing. I’ve always had good results and a sold vessels, without any problems. I’d tell you to avoid EBAY. I tried EBAY once, and I’ll never use them ever again.
